House for Penny and Jan

Front of house. This house reminds me of the Sabado Ct one. Entrance is on far right side, recessed. This is a corner lot (street to right). Community mailbox is on the side street where property lines meet to house behind you. (Link to Google Maps pic: click here.) The back patio is covered. It's a big step down, but we can remedy that for you.
Living room. Maybe about the size of yours now. This lady's furniture is too much for the space. Vaulted ceiling above and in hallway. (And maybe master; I don't remember.)
This wall has a recessed area for TV (or bookshelf for DVDs) and a gas fireplace! Back door is beyond.
Table area. Surrounded by half wall, so no room for hutch (unless you don't mind blocking the window). That may have to go in a back bedroom.
Kitchen. Lots of cabinets, small pantry, smooth-top range. Lots of counter space. (Bigger than my kitchen!)
Pantry door; more cabinets and a desk area.
The two bedrooms are not huge, probably the size of your current bedrooms, perhaps a bit larger. The master is large. Current occupant has a dresser similar to yours and it doesn't dwarf the room. There is a large expanse of wall for your bed. Master is 5-piece bath. Shower to left, oval tub to right.
Dual sinks, good counter space and storage
Walk-in closet that goes behind the wall a bit more.

Here's a rough floor plan for you. The living room didn't quite fit on the paper. Click on it to make it bigger (works for any picture here). The house is 13 years old. All appliances included. Has A/C. If there's a maintenance issue, you call the agency, not the owner. There are a few minor maintenance issues, namely the fence has a few Tia-sized holes that will need fixing, the smoke alarm is missing, the second and third bedroom's closet doors are missing, and the electric company's box in the backyard is missing half its case. I was told to note these when I turn in the application so they can be taken care of. Pet deposit is $200. I'll need to ask if that is per dog. Regular deposit is same as rent, $1500. I think you'll like this house.

In memoriam... Tucker

I have finally come up with a layout that showcases my faithful friend to whom we had to say goodbye about four months ago. From his early days when he would chew up couch cushions to the day he started gasping for breath, every day we loved him more. "You're lucky you're cute!" we would often say.  These are my favorite pictures. This house just isn't the same without him.

27 Nov 2000 - 7 Nov 2013

The main picture opens up for some journaling...

Wherever you are, give your dog a hug today. It just might be his last.

Materials: paper by Reminisce (good dog), Imaginisce (tan paw print), Echo Park Paper Co. (striped, dog print border, "good dog" sticker), AdornIt (red bones) and my stash (plain brown cardstock). CTMH supplies: cashmere and champagne cardstock, cocoa ink, black pigment pens (retired), Tiny Typewriter stamp set (retired).

The Tooth Fairy's Been Busy!

I just love this shot of Aaron with his missing teeth! He lost the first one at Grandpa's house eating watermelon; the second one he pulled out a few weeks later. He's got a loose one on the bottom right (his perspective) that's more than ready to come out, but he doesn't like to wiggle it right now.

Anyway, I was pulling pics off the SD card and found this one, so I thought I'd share.
